11 months (almost a month late)

Again, we are so behind! We are 3 days away from Jake's first birthday and we are just now getting to his 11 month update! With the holidays & Jake’s 1st birthday party I've been super busy with planning and haven’t had a chance to even think! So, again, better late than never! Below are Jake’s new ‘tricks’:

*He can walk…well, sort of! He took his first steps on Nov. 26th (two days after his 11 month birthday). Since then he’s taken a few steps here and there but is not quite off and ‘running’ yet (no pun intended).

*He is started to figure things out on his own. For example, he is learning how to stack blocks and how some of his toys work. It’s so interesting to watch him as he is discovering the world.

*He has been making the funniest little facial expressions…it really is hilarious to watch!

*He eats anything and everything (but is still the skinniest little guy). Looks like he is taking after daddy in that department! :-)

*He can say 'hot', answers with 'woof' when we ask what the doggy says, and is starting to say 'dada' much more

*He got his first hair cut and now looks more like a little boy and not a baby
