We were very lucky this year to be able to spend two weeks in San Jose for Jake's birthday and Christmas. I had the whole 2 weeks off of work which was nice since that gave us some time to meet with friends and take care of things that we needed to. And although Peter had to work most of the time, he was able to be off for Jake's birthday/Christmas Eve which was fun for the family. It was also nice that the weekend after Christmas we were able to throw Jake a birthday party with all of his friends in San Jose. It gave us a good opportunity to catch up with people we hadn't seen for awhile. Get ready for lots of pictures!
