12 months

Can you believe it?!? Our little baby is now one year old! He is looking more and more like a little boy and not a baby and is becoming more and more independent. Here are some highlights:

1. He is learning so many words...he can now say banana, apple, cheese, shoes, keys, truck, bottle, diaper, hat, all done, and ouch. It seems that everyday he's adding a new word!
2. He is now officially on whole milk and completely weaned. The transition was fairly easy for him (not so much for mommy)
3. He is a full time walker now and actually prefers to walk rather than crawl
4. He's also learning to climb, throw a ball and cheer for the San Jose Sharks...if he sees a hockey game on tv he raises one hand in the air like he's saying "Go Sharks!" :)
5. He loves playing with trucks and riding on his little car and he's constantly saying "vroom vroom" (typical boy).
6. And mommy's favorite, he can blow kisses. :)
