There have been lots of big milestones this month and we've had so much fun experiencing them with Jake!
*He had his 6 month check up 2 weeks ago and he was 16 lbs. 12 oz. and 26.5" long. The doctor was very impressed with his leg and core strength.
*One big item is Jake is now sitting up on his own! He loves just hanging out on his blanket in the living room and playing with his toys.
*We have also started him on solid foods. At first he HATED it, but he has really grown to love it. He is a big fan of bananas, applesauce, sweet potatoes, avocado and he's getting used to peas.
*He got his 6 month shots and he was a very brave little man. He only cried for a little bit and then was fine.
*He is on the verge of crawling. He can get on his hands and knees but is so far only rocking back and forth.
*He is a copy cat. He and Peter have "coughing" fights all the time, although Peter usually wins because Jake gets tired.
This last month has been full of many "firsts" and we are so happy that we have a healthy, happy little boy!
